EP 15: Read the Room: It’s Black History Month
Black history is history—but every February, we take intentional time to celebrate the voices, stories, and legacies that have shaped the world. In this episode, we highlight Black authors whose works have left a lasting impact across genres, discuss why it’s crucial to keep calling it Black History Month, and push back against efforts to dilute its significance. From classic literature to contemporary must-reads, we’re diving into the power of Black storytelling and why it deserves to be uplifted year-round.
NOTE: We regret being exhausted while recording this episode. But imperfect activism is still activism, and we wanted to show up regardless of our personal circumstances, for this important topic.
