S2: EP4: Stuffing Season

Tuesday Nov 18, 2025

Tuesday Nov 18, 2025

We’re back witches, and this week we’re serving up something a little more… mouth-watering. In honor of the season, we’re diving fork-first into Thanksgiving smut — yes, you read that right. Stuffing isn’t the only thing getting filled this holiday.
From turkey-day trysts to autumn-spiced antics, we each picked up a different book again (because apparently we love chaos), and trust us… these plots are as messy as your aunt’s casserole. Our TBRs? Overloaded. Our standards? Questionable. Our entertainment? Immaculate.
We’ll talk about the spice, the surprises, the “who let this get published?” moments, and all the festive filth in between.

Tuesday Nov 04, 2025

Tuesday Nov 04, 2025

We’re back for Season 2, Part 2 and we’re starting with a little magic in the air — and maybe in our mugs. This week, we’re once again exploring witchy cozy mysteries with spicy romance, but in a shocking turn of events, we both read DIFFERENT books this time around.
Double stuffed thanks to the In My Kindle Era Facebook group, once again your recommendations are truly magical, and our TBRs are officially spellbound. We’ll talk about the flames, the flops, and all the fiction you can get your hands on in between.

We’re back, babes — and things are about to get witchy. 🕯️
After surviving the chaos that was 2025, we’ve officially embraced our seasonal era. In Pursuit of Plot now runs from late October through the end of March — aka peak cozy book babe season — with a few bonus drops in the summer when we can’t help ourselves.
We hope to make Season 2 our most magical one yet. Expect more books, more banter, more smut, and yes… more emotional damage disguised as literature. ;)

Black history is history—but every February, we take intentional time to celebrate the voices, stories, and legacies that have shaped the world. In this episode, we highlight Black authors whose works have left a lasting impact across genres, discuss why it’s crucial to keep calling it Black History Month, and push back against efforts to dilute its significance. From classic literature to contemporary must-reads, we’re diving into the power of Black storytelling and why it deserves to be uplifted year-round.

NOTE: We regret being exhausted while recording this episode. But imperfect activism is still activism, and we wanted to show up regardless of our personal circumstances, for this important topic.
